Smit Academy was born from a desire to empower Sri Lankan youth living in Italy to pursue their academic dreams. Founded by Dr. Viraj Pattapola, a graduate of the University of Campania in Naples and a current Resident in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Diseases, Smit Academy understands the challenges faced by international students navigating the Italian higher education system. Dr. Pattapola himself embarked on this journey by successfully passing the IMAT exam, granting him access to medical studies in Italy.
